Congratulations on a great 2008 season. Many players were recognized for their efforts...check the awards/history page. Good luck seniors!

Lacrosse Summer Camp
I am pleased to announce for the first time that Hinsdale Central Girls Lacrosse is going to have a summer program! We are going to have the program be as if we were an IHSA sport so that when we make the switch, we won't have any changes. I am going to be coaching the practices, which are for varsity players, anyone hoping to play varsity, or anyone wanting to play at a high JV level. While it is not mandatory (it will be eventually), it is highly recommended that you take this great opportunity so we can work on the things we need to work on AS A TEAM. We will practice 3 days a week and I understand that people go away on vacations. We are going to have so many practices because we know that not everyone will be able to make every practice.
We will practice at KLM in Hinsdale from 4-5:30 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6/16-7/31. This will not conflict with any Lakeshore practices or games. We will practice 7/2, instead of 7/3, as the only exception.
It is too close to the 4th and many of you will be out of town.
Please sign up as soon as possible. The cost is $125. We will also have Meghan Cleary (current Division 1 player for Marist) coaching as well as Emily Schneider (All-American HM and 1st team All-State) and Kendall and Samantha Santulli (both current Division 1 players at
Northwestern) at different points. I'm sure Virginia Kosenkova (HC assist Varsity coach) will be coaching as much as she can as well.
Please send a check, made out to Hinsdale Central Girl's Lacrosse Club to Linda Robinson. The address is 425 E. 1st Street in Hinsdale.
Write your daughter's name, year for 2008-2009 school year, and her email on a post it and send that in with the check as well. We are going to take about 40-50 girls max, so sign up ASAP.
Thank you,
Michelle Sebastian

Spring Break 2009
If you are planning on playing on the Varsity squad next year, you
will have to be back from your Spring Break vacation on the Thursday
April 2nd, in time for practice. We are going to participate in a
tournament with great East Coast teams that weekend at Loyola Academy and we will need the one practice before it begins. This way, we will only have to travel out of state once and the season won't seem so cramped. We will not have a game scheduled the Thursday night of break (March 26th, I believe) so you will still have from Thursday to Thursday to have a family vacation or whatever it is you want to do.
This will benefit the girls in the long run. I can't make exceptions
in this case, so if you plan on being on Varsity, please arrange your
schedules accordingly.
Secondly, for the first time I am going to run a summer program
through Hinsdale Central so we can practice as a team during the
summer like the other top programs at our school and in our state.
This session will be by invitation with details forthcoming.
